Many school teachers are online right now looking for online jobs for teachers. Often they are just looking for summer jobs. I was doing the same thing several months ago. Instead of a summer job that ends when school starts again, you could have a summer job that carried on throughout the year and still made money without too much additional work through affiliate marketing.
Affiliate marketing is probably the best way today to earn an online income. Affiliate marketing, or internet marketing as it is often referred, is a legitimate online job, and it’s one that school teachers are particularly well suited. As a teacher you have skills, and if you’ve been teaching more than a year or two, your skills that will work in internet marketing are probably well developed. There are other online jobs for teachers, but affiliate marketing is one of the most successful ones available today.
For those of you that don’t know much about affiliate marketing, I will give a brief explanation. In the world of commerce, you have customers and merchants. You also have marketers or advertisers that connect the customers with the merchants. In the past, the only real way to do that was through advertising on radio, television, newspapers, or other written media.
With the advent of the internet, a new venue opened up, and it doesn’t take a college degree in marketing or advertising to be successful with it. As a teacher, you already have the computer skills necessary to be successful in this field. You’ll probably need to learn a lot about setting up a website, but a good affiliate marketing training program will take care of that.
You probably enjoy your job. You just need more money. As a teacher myself, I was in that same situation. I loved teaching, but I couldn’t make ends meet. With the economy in it’s current state, it will probably get much worse. We are already seeing cuts.
I know affiliate marketers that are making many times what a teacher makes during the year, and they do all that without leaving their house. As a matter of fact, I even know a couple of high school students that started out marketing as a substitute for flipping burgers at one of their local fast food establishments. They only hoped to make $50.00 a week. After a few months they were making more than their parents.
As I stated earlier, you have skills. You can usually spot lies fairly easily. You are not easily fooled with scams. There are a lot of scams online. Be careful and research them. If trial offers are available, take advantage of them. You’re going to need to join a training program. My website below talks about the best one I’ve seen. There are others, but my “gut” didn’t feel right about them. You could always just try to learn by finding free information on the internet, but that’s a very slow process, and most people give up because of that.
You are persuasive. If you can get students to do what you want, you can convince customers to do business with merchants. How many times have you had to persuade a student to do their work? It works the same way in the business world.
Most teachers, even music teachers, can write reasonably well. Article marketing is often referred to as “bum marketing”. In other words, you could take a bum off the street and they could make money online through article marketing. When you combine the ability to write with the ability to persuade, you can’t help but be successful.
The last trait or skill you have that will be necessary is persistence. This is not something where you will earn thousands of dollars your first few months. It will probably take a couple of months before you even make your first sale. Most of that time is just learning how it all works. It’s a fairly steep learning curve, but as a teacher, you’re smart enough to handle it. Just don’t give up. As I stated earlier, many marketers are earning thousands every month. Some are earning thousands every day. You have what it takes to be successful, but you need to start now.
